PM: Watches Cambodia Made for Heads of Delegations Shows That Cambodia Can Do It

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen confirmed that the watch made by Cambodia for the heads of delegations that came to attend the ASEAN Summit show that Cambodia can do it. The Prime Minister made these remarks at a press conference after closing the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and related summits at the Peace Palace on 13 November 2022.

"What it really means is that I want to assure our partners that Cambodian children have the ability to produce watches as gifts for the heads of state and heads of government," he said.

The Prime Minister has confirmed that he will continue to wear this watch at the ASEAN Summit and related events next year.

As the chair of ASEAN in 2022, the Prime Minister produced 25 watches for distribution to the top leaders attending the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and related meetings.

He stressed that the ASEAN Summit was successful and fruitful. The ASEAN summit was held from 8-13 November 2022.
